Welcome to Orangédex (hereinafter referred to as “the App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy is intended to explain how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use this Application.
The core function of this App is to provide entertainment, and we operate on the principle of minimal data collection. The following are the types of information we may collect:
- Photos: When you take a photo using the camera or select one from your photo library, the photo is sent to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) for analysis. This process is solely for providing the core functionality of the App. We do not store or retain any of your photos on our servers. The photo is discarded immediately after the analysis is complete.
- Identifier for Advertising (IDFA): This App uses Google AdMob to provide advertising services. If you consent to tracking, we may collect your device’s Identifier for Advertising (IDFA) to provide a personalized ad experience. This data is linked to your identity and used for third-party advertising purposes. You can choose whether to allow this tracking through your device settings or the in-app prompt.
We do not actively collect or store your Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as your name, email address, precise location, or contact information. This App can be used without registration.
We use your information only in the following circumstances:
- To Provide Core Functionality: To process the photos you upload in order to generate AI analysis results and display them in the App.
- To Store Your Collection Data: All collection data generated after analysis is stored only in the local database on your device. We cannot access this data.
- To Provide Advertising: To use the Identifier for Advertising (IDFA) and other non-personalized data collected by AdMob to provide you with personalized or non-personalized ads, which support the free operation of the App.
3. Third-Party Services
The functionality of this App relies on the following third-party services:
- OpenAI, L.L.C.: As our provider of AI image analysis services. The images you upload are sent to OpenAI for processing. We recommend that you review OpenAI’s Privacy Policy to understand their data handling practices.
- Google AdMob: As our advertising service provider, AdMob may collect the Identifier for Advertising (IDFA), coarse location, and other non-personalized data to display ads and analyze ad performance. We recommend that you review Google’s Privacy Policy to understand their data handling practices.
We do not share your information with any other third parties, except as required for the functionalities and advertising services described above.
4. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Deletion: All collection data you create in this App is stored on your device. You can permanently remove all locally stored collection data at any time by deleting the App.
- Permission Management: You can manage or revoke the App’s access permissions to your “Camera,” “Photo Library,” or “Ad Tracking” at any time through your device’s system “Settings.” If you do not allow ad tracking, we will only provide non-personalized ads.
- Ad Tracking Choices: The App may request your permission to use the Identifier for Advertising (IDFA) for personalized advertising. You can choose whether to allow tracking through the in-app prompt or your device settings (“Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking”). If you decline tracking, you can still use all features of the App and will only see non-personalized ads.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If there are any significant changes, we will notify you within the App. We recommend that you review this policy periodically to stay informed.
