Codec Call Privacy Policy

Codec Call does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, servers, analytics, ads or tracking, and nothing is sent to us.

On your device only: a random device ID and the callsign made from it, your settings and your block list.
Nearby devices: devices in Bluetooth range (and on the same Wi-Fi when NET LINK is on) can see your callsign, unless you are hidden.
During a call: video (reduced to colour blocks), voice, game moves, your callsign and device ID go directly to the other device over Bluetooth or the local Wi-Fi. Video, voice, game moves and your device ID are encrypted between the two devices; your callsign is sent unencrypted when the call starts. The app does not store any of it. The other person can see, hear and record what you send.
Permissions: Bluetooth and local network find and connect devices; camera and microphone are for calls; notifications announce incoming calls.

權限：藍牙與區網用來尋找並連接裝置；相機與麥克風用於通話；通知用來提醒來電。

通話中：映像（カラーブロックに縮小）、音声、ゲームの手、コールサインと端末 ID は、Bluetooth またはローカル Wi-Fi で相手の端末に直接送られます。映像、音声、ゲームの手、端末 ID は 2 台の端末の間で暗号化されます。コールサインは通話の開始時に暗号化されずに送られます。アプリはこれらを保存しません。相手はあなたが送るものを見聞きし、録画・録音できます。
権限：Bluetooth とローカルネットワークは端末の検出と接続に、カメラとマイクは通話に、通知は着信のお知らせに使います。
